TONS 2012 – Showtime!
Trade Only Ltd, organisers of the only national UK trade show for the Promotional Products Industry has announced that visitor registrations for the show have attained a new record passing the total registrations reached by the close of last year’s show which was in itself a record.
They say that many distributors are reported to be bringing their whole teams to Coventry for the event of the year which takes place next week on the 25th and 26th of January at the Jaguar and Ibex Halls in the Ricoh Arena.
” It seems like the whole industry is decamping en masse to Coventry next week” commented Gail Kilcoyne, exhibition manager for Trade Only. ” It will certainly take two days to take in everything the exhibition has to offer, with 330 exhibitors, the bpma and PSI Pavilions, Worx exhibits, fashion shows and Power Sessions, and that is without the bpma Annual Awards Dinner” she added.
Organisers have told PPD that nearly 800 tickets have so far been sold for what is widely believed to be the largest dinner ever held for the industry, the bpma Annual Awards Dinner. The dinner features chart topping star Olly Murs, the bpma Awards and interactive voting as well as great food, fine wines, networking, dancing, a DJ and the fabulous Carte Blanche featuring the girls from “Got The Horn”.
Winners of the “Meet Olly” competition were published on this site a few days ago to much excitement.
Trade Only reports that while the ticket order site for the dinner is closed, it is still posssible to order the very last few tickets by calling 0845 880 2751 and paying by card.
The TONS 2012 official show charity this year is The Power Of One, championed by Leann from Booth Brothers. You can support their great works by visiting the Power Of One stand in Ibex at the Ricoh and donating cash and goods or pledges. They also have a Chelsea shirt signed by the entire double winning team from 2010 to sell off to the highest bidder…reserve price is £600!!
