Starting as early as last year Panoramic Promotions started getting orders from many of the main sponsors of this years Olympics and Paralympics, with a plethora of products supplied from Wash Bags filled with various items from sunscreen and mints, to be handed to VIP guests, to Polo’s for security staff at both events.
Due to the severe inclement weather in the weeks before the games commenced, they even managed to source, supply and deliver to numerous sites, 50,000 emergency clear Poncho’s and 1700 Polos for security staff for LOCOG, all within 3 days, just a week before the opening ceremony!
Products were supplied to most of the main sponsors such as Visa, Cadburys, BP, EDF, GSK, Lloyds and LOCOG themselves!
Natalie Hyams, Managing Director of Panoramic Promotions, commented “The Olympics and Paralympics have been phenomenally successful for us, even if it was quite stressful; particularly supplying those last minute essentials for the security staff and spectators and I can’t thank my team, headed up by Taz Akgul, enough, for the amazing job they have done”.
“We also couldn’t have managed to succeed without the amazing support of our wonderful suppliers such as BTC Activewear, Headwear UK, Bizz Badge, The Umbrella Company, Easy Gifts, Booth Brothers and Doves Clothing”.
“It’s a shame the Olympics will probably never come to our shores again during my working life, but hopefully the service levels that we provided to the main sponsors and our ability to ‘think outside of the box’ will keep us busy in the build up to the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics, both in Rio. In fact our design team are already working on innovative products suitable for both events”.
