New products of the international promotional products industry, information on all aspects of promotional products, networking with the key players of the industry: the PSI Show in Düsseldorf offers distributors and manufacturers a unique platform for their business.
Following this year’s PSI Show in January which, with 993 exhibiting companies, posted a new exhibitor record, the international network of the promotional products industry is also looking to 2013 with optimism. And not without reason: More than 700 companies have already booked their stands to date, about 1000 exhibitors are expected in January. “Once again we will place particular emphasis on international participation next year”, says PSI Director Michael Freter. “The new International Area in Hall 11 will be the central point of contact for visitors and exhibitors from all parts of the world.”
At next year’s trade show, the PSI thus concentrates its international partners in an area of their own. For the first time, the International Area measuring 1000 m² will group international industry representatives together and serve as the home base for international distributors.
Plenty of room for innovations
Following the success of HALLE13 at the PSI Show last January, next year’s trade show will again include the hall that focuses on novelties and inventions. The cooperation with the iENA inventor’s fair will be continued in order to enable inventors to meet the manufacturers and distributors from the promotional products industry. In HALLE13 they will present their ideas, prototypes and completed product developments to the promotional products market. One section of HALLE13 will again be the Forum for young innovative companies who, assisted with funding from the Federal government towards their trade show presentation, will have the opportunity to present their products to a large public. THE WALL, a (display window) wall measuring some 80 meters in length and showcasing innovative promotional products will also be back, and exhibitors can already apply for a space in it. The wall also includes some “touch stations”.
Voucher concept at PSI
The PSI Show is not just a contact and information platform – it is also place for ordering. In 2012, 66 per cent of the German and 84 per cent of the international visitors held middle and top management positions. 71 per cent of all visitors made or were involved in purchasing and procurement decisions on site. Therefore the new voucher booklet, offered for the first time for PSI 2013 is a great advantage. Up to ten exhibitors per hall can have a voucher for discounts and trade show specials included in this booklet. The visitor then takes this directly to the stand. The booklet is distributed to all visitors in the entrance area together with the hall plan.
Early-Bird until the end of September
Planning and booking ahead pays off: Until the end of September visitors to the PSI Show benefit from the early bird discount. Until then, the season ticket costs 20 € less (57 €, price on site: 77 €) which means that PSI kept last year’s prices. Especially for those wishing to visit the fair with a second person, it is worthwhile. Buying one ticket online now they get a second one for free.
