M.A.D.E. 2018 is on a health kick

For those who have kept up their healthy new year diets, the M.A.D.E. trade show, due to run in Paris, 20 – 21 March, is the perfect way to celebrate health and wellbeing as 450 manufacturers of custom-made products will be looking to impress an expected 4,500 visitors.

The exhibition, which showcases all aspects of the food industry including the latest innovations in branding, marketing and packaging, has embraced ‘Healthy Food; Healthy Planet’ as its two central themes for the 2018 event, promising to put ‘tasty, good-looking, organic … and responsible products in the spotlight.’

Visitors will find a Walk of Fame in the entrance hall, showcasing the latest innovations, as well as a Trends Area just beyond it where M.A.D.E.’s nutrition experts from NutriMarketing will be analysing current trends.

There will also be the Your Cuisine Lab – a cooking area where chefs will be put through their paces with cooking challenges and demonstrations – as well as a digital test kitchen.

Many of the talks at the conference room will also have a strong focus on good health and ecological concerns, with the current schedule (subject to final changes) including ‘Organic and gluten free audits’, ‘Sustainable packaging’, ‘Moralising consumer choices’, and ‘Will the world be vegan in 2050?’
