Pack&gift 2018’s agenda set for customer experience

Organisers of the Parisian trade show for packaging and gift items, Pack&gift, have declared the focus of their 2018 show will be on the increasing number of promotional product solutions designed to create links with customers in search of a unique experience.

The show, due to take place at Paris Porte de Versailles on 13 – 14 June, will have a specially created ‘Shopping by Pack&gift’ space at its centre, where visitors will be able to touch, see, smell and even taste showcased products. A jury panel will be on hand to award a prize for the most creative promotional solution.

Knoll Prestige Packaging, Procos, Norline & co, Centruy Box and Eurotextile are among the industry names who will be displaying their latest packaging innovations and designs.

“Today, almost all brands use transitory product promotions in the Luxury and mass-market sectors as well as in all distribution networks,” event organisers announced.

“Advertisers are keenly aware of the importance of event-driven product promotions for their image and sales. However, in a market where new connected, customised and accessorised offers are emerging on almost a daily bases, it is becomingly increasingly difficult to develop real solutions that fit the brand DNA.

“It is against this backdrop that Pack&gift is making the shift towards a more honed, dynamic and relevant format.”
